Women’s Services at DeKalb Medical

DeKalb Medical provides a range of women’s services in Atlanta through our new $55 million Women’s and Surgery Center, which opened in 2007. This state-of-the-art facility caters to women at every stage in life, from pregnancy through post-menopause. Our services focus on the individual needs of each patient through expert physicians and a highly trained staff.

Our Women’s and Surgery Center has an inviting, spa-inspired atmosphere filled with soothing colors, natural stone accents, warm wooden floors, cozy lobby fireplaces and special amenities such as free wireless Internet access throughout the building for Atlanta gynecology and maternity patients and their guests. DeKalb Medical is among the largest maternity hospitals in Atlanta and the state, welcoming more than 6,000 newborns a year. We are home to the second largest neonatal intensive care nursery in Atlanta and Georgia, with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
