The Medical Records department at DeKalb Medical is responsible for the safe keeping of your medical records. We will make every attempt to honor your request for a copy of your record in a timely manner in accordance with State and Federal laws. The fee schedule for copying records is set by the State of Georgia and is currently $0.93 per page. For records mailed/faxed directly to a physician's office, there is no fee. All requests are processed at the North Decatur campus and are usually mailed within 7-14 business days after receiving your request. Please address requests/questions to:
